Green Clubs Get Involved
Toolkit
A launch event to announce that the GAA Green Club Toolkit is published was held in early December 2022.
The toolkit is freely available to all GAA, Camogie and LGFA Clubs and is designed to support club members and volunteers in taking simple action across 5 thematic areas; Energy, Water, Waste, Biodiversity and Travel, and was produced with technical experts from the SEAI, LAWPro, Irish Water, the Regional Waste Authorities, the National Biodiversity Data Centre, the NTA, the RSA and equivalent authorities in Northern Ireland.
Phase 2
Expressions of interest for Phase Two opened on Saturday, Dec 3rd 2022. Any club that wishes to be recognised as a Green Club must apply through the Phase 2 Applications link below.
Applications must be submitted by midnight Sunday January 29th and requires your club secretary’s contact details to be included. The portal will automatically close at this time and incomplete applications cannot be accepted after this time.
Clubs who will be offered the programme will be notified by email and required to accept the offer of participation by Friday February 10th.
An orientation day for Phase 2 Clubs has been scheduled for Saturday, 4th March in Croke Park.
